Events this Spring
Sportsmans Dinner
For the past few years, the Sam and Sharon Esh family has hosted a Sportsman’s Dinner and Auction at Beechdale Farms with much of the proceeds being donated to the ministry efforts of For One Life. This year, April 5th was the date with over 500 people in attendance for a great evening of fellowship, fun and fundraising. The speaker was local renowned fox hunter, Cliff Martin, who spoke on his experience with fox hunting, especially red fox.
For One Life thanks Sam, Sharon and their entire family for their generosity and grace in hosting this fundraiser not only for FOL, but for other local needs as well.
New Covenant Missions Conference
Michael Esh and Chris Straka were invited to speak at the New Covenant Mennonite Fellowship during their recent Missions Conference in New Holland. For One Life was one of six ministries in attendance and was able to present our mission, project updates and a wonderful fellowship meal. Thank you to Sammy and Michelle Stoltzfus for your support and the opportunity to share with your congregation!
Levi’s Building Components
Another opportunity to tell the For One Life story was at a company meeting of Levi’s Building Components in Brownstown. Chris Straka talked about the minimal opportunity for the people in northeast India and how For One Life is working to provide much needed hope and opportunity there. Thanks Steve Fisher for your ongoing support of For One Life and the opportunity to meet your team members.
We would like to spread the message of For One Life to your group at a company meeting, lunch or other gathering. If you would like to have us come to your place of business, community group, church or small group and talk about the difference that For One Life is making in India, please contact Chris via email or phone: [email protected] or 717 327-4111.
