Widows Aid and Kingdom Kids Program Updates

The following update is provided by Eljay Ngaite, Director of Operations for For One Life Asia, in Churachandpur. He supervises the Widows Aid Program and has travelled to some of the outlying villages in Manipur state.

By the Grace of God, we were able to go out and serve some of the remotest villages outside Churachandpur. During the month of February to March 2025, we were able to bless Widows from 13 different Villages from the Hmarbiel area. These villages don’t even have proper roads, which made it impossible for some of the Widows to come and claim their supplies. So, we had to hire vehicles to deliver the bags of rice to some of these villages. A total number of 305 Widows were blessed. Each Widow was given 50 kgs of Rice Bag, 1 litre of Cooking Oil, 1 Kg of Sugar and 1 Kg of Lentil.

The 1st Semester of this Year’s Kingdom Kids was started on 8th March to 6th April, 2025 at Khengjang VIllage. There were 165 children present till the end. The Second Venue was S Mongkot Village from 10th May to 7th June 2025, where 72 Children were present.

Besides the regular Kingdom Kids program, Our Team, in collaboration with the Saint Peter’s School have organised an Evangelistic Week from 1st May to 3rd May at Saint Peter’s School, where 250 students joined the program.

Also, in collaboration with the NTBC Church, Our Team has organised VBS at the NTBC campus from 17th June to 21st June 2025, where 392 Children were present.
